This excursion is without doubt one of the most requested by our clients. Located in the wonderful Val d'Orcia these two small towns situated at a short distance from each other are jewels of rare beauty. Perched on top of a hill from where you can see all the valley below, Montepulciano has been chosen more than once as the location for important films (such as New Moon, the second film in the Twilight saga) because it evokes such a magical atmosphere. Only 15km away is Pienza, famous for its Pecorino cheese, for the rarity of its trapezoidal main square and for its streets with unusual names such as Amore (Love), Bacio (Kiss) or Fortuna (Luck)!
Prices include the pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation and all transfers during the day. They are comprehensive of all local taxes, fuel costs and all road tolls. Not included is the cost of lunch, wine-tastings or for expenses derived from any extra hours of service.
Deserving of a special mention, and even a short visit, is the small church of San Biagio, situated at the foot of Montepulciano's hill and set at the end of a magnificent avenue of cypress trees.
